You are a great example of someone who has not settled for less than God has for you. Your heart is consumed by the needs of the young people in your life. Thank you for not taking the path you were on when you were younger. Your story has touched and still touches the lives of people every day.

Thank you Glen, it reminds me of the children’s story “The Velveteen Rabbit” about a toy that becomes real because it is valued and appreicated by a child.

How many of us wish we were real to others, just like the Velveteen Rabbit?

Glen, this is a stunning video from Jackie. I’ve seen it now a few times and I am so moved. How am I SO VERY SLOW to take hold of the opportunities to make a difference? I feel sometimes like we’re swimming in mud compared to people like Jackie who are already running fast towards a great prize.
